MABEL VALDIVIEZO - PRODUCER, DIRECTOR & EDITOR
Mabel Valdiviezo, a partner in Haiku Films in San Francisco, has made documentary, narrative, and experimental films for 10 years.
She directed and produced CARLOS BARON, POETA PAN, profiles of Chilean playwright Carlos Baron and poet Pablo Neruda for KQED’s SPARK series.
The short of her feature, SOLEDAD IS GONE FOREVER, screened at the Cannes Film Market – Short Film Corner.
She was nominated for the International Filmmaker NHK Award and was selected to participate at the Sundance Producer’s Conference.
Valdiviezo won the Women in Film Emerging Filmmakers Award and has recently placed finalist at the ABC/DGA Directing Fellowship.
She is developing a romantic comedy, PARALLEL LIES, with partner Cesar Viana-Teague.
Valdiviezo served on the Board of Directors of Bay Area Women in Film and Television (BAWIFT) and is former Co-chair of the National Association of Latino Producers (NALIP), San Francisco Chapter.
Valdiviezo was born in Lima, Peru.

Cesar is a consultant to Haiku Films and Ontrac Communications, a UK based marketing services firm. He brings 20 years of hands-on experience in business development, multicultural & integrated marketing, as well as international business experience in the
services & manufacturing industries. Cesar also helps entrepreneurs develop their business plans and marketing strategy. He volunteers at the Renaissance
Entrepreneurship Center in San Francisco.
Cesar is the executive producer for Soledad is Gone Forever (short). He is actively engaged in contributing to the script (feature), budget, and marketing/websites for Soledad is Gone Forever and Haiku Films.
